Well here I am in a rut of sorts I guess. Not debating world peace or anything like that, more like what is my favorite coffee? TOUGH one.. and possibly a touchy subject. Being a coffee fanatic like many others out there, I have my loyalties and having been in 'coffee discussions' where I have debated many a time which one is really the best, it is not easy to decide. Best what is the next question. Best flavor? Best aroma? Best flavored? Best that can only can be bought at a gas station? Best buy? Each question leads you to another, Pods? French pressed? Brewed?
Whew, get me a second cup...
Anyway, here are my go-to's, yes it is a complicated story and of course they all depend on the day, time and the 'mood' I am in.
Let's say Monday morning- drive into work, pick up either a nice Dunkin Donuts hazelnut or french vanilla -good to start off with. No, I can't do a latte, skinny blah blah blah.. too complicated, I just want simplicity first thing in the morning. Reserve further comments when I get to Starbucks next. Oh and by the way, please tell me that there are still more people that enjoy the COFFEE more than the SUGAR here, please? I am appalled by those who pour bags and bags of sugar into their cups, how can they even call it coffee after that??? Yes, I am one of those people who is standing next to them thinking, and wanting to say "I know that I don't know you, but trust me, you should not be having that much sugar, it is just not good for you, no matter who you are!!!" Ok, now before all you Starbucks lovers get on my back about mentioning DD first, please note I LOVE Starbucks equally, however not all days can I afford 6 bucks a cup.... and truthfully, I enjoy their 'frilly' coffees as I like to call them, and that is yet another story.
